(1/14/18) … Sacramento, CA … The King of the West Fujitsu Sprint Car Racing Series, presented by the Northern Auto Racing Club, has announced the addition of a new associate sponsor to the 2018 schedule.  Swift Metal Finishing of Santa Clara, CA has signed on to sponsor the Hardcharger Award to reward the driver who passes the most cars during the feature event.

The Swift Metal Finishing Hardcharger Award will present $150 at each racing event.  In addition, they have anted up a $1500 year end point fund.  It will be presented to the top two drivers who pass the most cars during the 2018 season.  The driver with the most will earn $1000.

“Some of the best racing and hardest effort comes from the guys starting farther back in the field,” said Bob Montoya, President of Swift Metal Finishing.  “We want to recognize those charging from the back and this is a great way to do it.”

Swift Metal Finishing has been family-owned since 1979 and provides electroplating and anodizing and metal services.
