(3/10/22) Sacramento, CA … The Northern Auto Racing Club announced today that Swift Metal Finishing is back as an associate sponsor of the traveling sprint car sanctioning body.  The Santa Clara, CA-based metal plating and anodizing company will be sponsoring the Swift Metal Finishing Hardcharger Award at every NARC show.

Swift Metal Finishing President Bob Montoya is an avid sprint car fan and is very appreciative and supportive of the unheralded drivers who charge from the back of the field.  His company will be awarding $150 to the driver who passes the most cars from their original starting position in each feature event.  An extra $1000 bonus will be presented to the driver who advances the most cars this season.  That money is awarded at the November 6th championship awards celebration.

“Bob Montoya is not only a friend, but a tremendous supporter of NARC and 410 sprint car racing,” said series board member Brent Kaeding.  “The Swift Metal Finishing sponsorship provides great incentive and reward for teams that fight to make the best out of a bad starting position.  On most nights, those drivers work harder then the guy standing in victory lane.  We thank Swift Metal Finishing for their support or our racing series.”

Bill Aton of Benicia, CA, the 2021 NARC King of the West rookie-of-the-year, claimed the end of season award last year.  He fought his way past 104 sprint cars.

The Northern Auto Racing Club encourages race fans to support those who support sprint car racing!

The 2022 NARC Fujitsu General USA Sprint Car Series season opener is on April 2nd at the Stockton Dirt Track.  The 25-race campaign will invade 13-different dirt tracks in California, Oregon, and Washington.
