The El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville has been transformed into a massive staging area for fire crews and their support equipment being used to battle the nearby Caldor fire. The fire is burning rampant and isn’t expected to be under control anytime soon. As a result, the State of California issued a directive to CANCEL the Wednesday, August 25th Fastest Five Days in Motorsports opener for the NARC King of the West Fujitsu Sprint Car Series. Extinguishing this fire and saving lives is of the utmost priority. The racing community totally supports these efforts!
As a result, the Fastest Four Days in Motorsports opener will be at Merced Speedway on August 26th.
