(10/10/20), Hanford, CA … The Northern Auto Racing Club and the King of the West sprint car series proudly presented the prestigious Dave Bradway Jr. Inspirational Trophy to longtime car owner and race supporter Dennis Roth in Hanford Saturday. Roth’s contributions to the sport have fueled the sport of sprint car racing and launched the driving careers of many of the sport’s superstars. This is not limited to Roth’s many achievements in California, but across the nation, where collectively he has won several championships. This award was well deserved and long overdue.
The perpetual trophy is named in honor of the late Dave Bradway Jr, a driver who lost his life in a sprint car accident in 1986. The award reads, “A racer who aspired to greatness and achieved both on the racetrack and in the hearts and minds of all who he came in contact with.” Over the years, it was recognized a Hall of Fame worthy list of recipients. Among them are Rodney Tiner, Brent Kaeding, Lovell Brothers Racing, Chris Good, Mike Andreetta, Billy Albini, Dave & Dianne Durica, Peter Williams, and Morrie Williams.
Roth Motorsports Team Manager Todd Ventura accepted the award on his behalf. Roth, who was at home nursing a sore back, was watching the event and presentation on Floracing.com.
The Northern Auto Racing Club thank Dennis and Teresa Roth for the tremendous support of sprint car racing.
