(May 24, 2020) Sacramento, CA … The NARC King of the West Fujitsu Sprint Car Series announced that all events through June 6th have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This now includes the May 30th Petaluma Speedway show and the Placerville Speedway race on June 6th. To date, six of the 19-scheduled races have been postponed or cancelled.
“We are hoping that with the multiple ‘phase in’ plans that are being rolled out in California that we will have good news in the near future,” said Jim Allen, series GM. “We are anxious to get back to the new normal.”
The series is hoping to reschedule some events later in the year.
