(March 10, 2020) Sacramento, CA … Full-time drivers competing on the 2020 NARC King of the West Fujitsu Sprint Car Series will be provided with an excess medical insurance policy from K & K Insurance.  The policy, which is also offered to full-time series officials, would cover up to $100,000 in medical expenses.

To be eligible, drivers must hold a current Northern Auto Racing Club-King of the West membership and commit to racing the entire 18-race schedule.  Enrollment will take place at the first race of the season on March 14th at Kern County Raceway Park in Bakersfield, CA.  The season ends on November 7th at the Stockton Dirt Track.  The policy is good for one calendar year once it is issued by K & K Insurance and its subsidiaries.

“Let us never forget that racing is a dangerous sport,” said Jim Allen, the series General Manager.  “This is a policy that we pray never gets used, but is available to help provide an injured driver with a safety net under the worst case scenario.  This policy is designed to supplement the competitors existing insurance coverage.”
