(3/2/19) Stockton, CA …, The highly-anticipated March 2nd King of the West-NARC Fujitsu Sprint Car Series 60th Anniversary season opener at the Stockton Dirt Track has been officially cancelled due to rain.
Promoter Tony Noceti has been battling Mother Nature all week, continuing to prepare the track and pit area and pumping out water in hopes of a four or five-hour window of opportunity on Saturday. Unfortunately, that did not happen, but we commend him for his efforts.
The event will not be rescheduled. The Dirt Track at Kern County Raceway Park (Bakersfield, CA) will now host the opener on Saturday, April 6th. For more information, go to NARC410.com.
