(3/31/18 – Jim Allen) …The King of the West-NARC Sprint Car Series released details today about their lucrative sponsorship package for the 2018 season. Fujitsu General, a industry-leading manufacturer of high-efficiency heating and air conditioning products, has returned as the title sponsor of the 16-race series.
Associate sponsors for the traveling series, which visits nine different dirt tracks in Northern and Central California, include Hoosier Racing Tires, PSC Industrial Services, Swift Metal Finishing, Sunnyvalley Bacon, ARP (Automotive Racing Products), Williams Roofing and the Cushion.com
The championship driver/car owner team will earn a $10,000 share of the $55,500 point fund earmarked for the Top 10 teams in the final standings. In addition, teams competing in every scheduled event that don’t finish in the top ten will pocket $1,000 in year end money.
The club also announced a contingency product award program worth more than $40,000. New company additions to this year’s series include SAFECRAFT Safety Equipment, Autometer.com, and Hooker Harness. They join ATL Racing Cells, ARP Racing Bolts, Brown & Miller Racing Solutions, ButlerBuilt, FK Rod Ends, Flowmaster, Kaeding Performance Center, KSE Racing Products, MAXIM, PAC Racing Springs, Pyrotect, Racing Optics, Saldana Racing Products, Schoenfeld Headers, SCI Racing Products, System 1 Ignition, Ultra Light Brakes, Weld Racing Wheels, Wilwood Brakes, and Winters Performance Products.
Johnstone Supply and Croft Racing are sponsoring a pair of specialty awards. Johnstone Supply will pay $2000 to any front row starter willing to take the Tailgater Challenge and win the feature event from the back row. Willie Croft Racing will ante up $1000 to any driver who breaks an existing King of the West-NARC qualifying record at any event this season. Additional sponsorship are currently being negotiated.
